ROEM Textiles is a passion turned business for Miya. ROEM is a small studio creating slow batch textiles, hand dyed and hand sewn from foraged & natural botanicals. The process is an art of slowing down, as it takes many hours to achieve the colours of nature. Each item is unique and embraces the beauty of imperfection. ROEM’s exploration of soft earthy hues are inspired by the wild beauty of the Okanagan Valley. Simple & Sustainable. ROEM’s packaging is printed with minimal ink on Mohawk Renewal Hemp, which is made from 30% Hemp & Post Consumer Waste fibres, and is also compostable! “My products are respectful and honest—sourcing sustainable fabrics and materials, being mindful of my process and packaging, and celebrating kindness to ourselves and our community.
